NOTE: Here I explain how to make the button. If you would like to know how to add your button to the sidebar of your blog with and without a code then go check out the How To Make a Blog Button With Code - Part 2 post.
Here is the website I used to make my blogs button: http://fotoflexer.com
You will need:
♥ Internet Access
♥ A Blog
Its not too simple, but if you read and follow the steps, soon you should have an awesome button for your blog! I will try to explain it to you as good as I can!
The Highlighted words are important, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't read ALL of the steps in order to understand throughly!
1) Go to FotoFlexer on your computer.
2) Click on the yellow "Upload Photo" button on the top right corner. You have the option to either upload it from the computer, or grab one from the web using the URL.
IMPORTANT: Now here is where it depends on what kind of button you want to create. You may want to combine multiple pictures in your button, or you may want to include just one. NOTE that you can only upload one pic at a time. I will later explain how to add more pics once you have added the first one.
IMPORTANT: In FotoFlexer there are many options to edit your button.
Here are some pictures of the options you have to edit your button:
There is also an Undo/Redo Button located on the top left corner!
So yeah, you have a pretty good selection of options! Take your time! =D
3) If you wish to upload more pictures, just click on the "Load Another Photo" button on the top left corner.
4)Now do your thing! If you wish to delete a pic, just right click on it and then click on the "delete" option. Make sure that the final look of the button is this size: 228 x 206 (or something along those lines)
How do you resize?
-1: Click on the "Basic" Tab(Its the first one on the left)"Resize" Button
"New Size:" section are close to these:
5) When you are done, click the "Save" button! (located on the top left corner)
You have a lot of ways you can save it. I recommend saving it to your computer. Once you have saved it to your computer, click on the URL/Link button at the very button to create a URL for your button. Copy and paste the code in a safe place because you will need it in the future. Here is a list of all the options available for you once you click on the "Save" button:
Now you're done! Enjoy your awesome new button!
P.S. - Tell me if this helped or not, if I did a good job, what I can improve on, or just whatever comes to your mind LOL! comments appreciated!
