NOTE: The HIGHLIGHTED words are important, but that doesn't mean that you don't have to read ALL of the directions to fully understand how to do this!

How To Add Your Button To Your Blog Sidebar With a Code

1) Log on to your Blog and click on "Design"

2) Click on "Add Gadget"

3) Scroll down until you see the "HTML/JavaScript" button. Click on the + (plus) sign.

4) A small window should pop up that looks like this:

Now here's the tricky part. Please follow directions carefully so you will be able to do it right.
This is the HTML code for a picture with a code under it:

 <div align="center"> <a href="YOUR BLOG URL" target="_blank"><img alt="YOUR BlOG NAME" src="YOUR BUTTON URL""/></a>  </div> <div align="center"> <form><textarea rows="6" cols="20"><center><a href="YOUR BLOG URL" target="_blank"><img alt="YOUR BLOG NAME" src="YOUR BUTTON URL"/></a></center></textarea></form> </div>

*IMPORTANT*: Copy and Paste the code above on to the small window that popped up under where it says "Content". Replace the colored words! Here's a further explanation:

YOUR BLOG URL: Your blogs URL! For example, I would put maddiegonewild.blogspot.com  because thats my blogs URL.

YOUR BUTTON URL: The URL for your button. I explained how to make a URL or Link for your button on my How To Make a Blog Button With Code - Part 1 post.

YOUR BLOG NAME: This is for your blogs NAME not URL. Why do you have to do this? Because this is what will apear when someone puts their arrow over your button. If you know what I mean. Well, even if you don't just make sure you replace these words with your blogs name. For example, if this was my button, I would put Maddie Gone Wild. (They don't have to be all together, this is the only part where you can add spaces!)
This is what mines would look like:

 5) Don't forget to put a Title! As you can see in the picture above, my title is ♥Go Ahead! Grab It!♥

6) Click the orange "Save" button on the lower right.

*IMPORTANT*: Once your done, don't forget to click on the other orange "Save" button on the top right corner so save your entire blog design.

Your Done! Now people can "Grab" your button with a link to your blog and put it on their own blog! Nice huh? Hope this was helpful, and have a nice day!

Love,

P.S. - Tell me if this helped or not, if I did a good job, what I can improve on, or just whatever comes to your mind LOL! comments appreciated!
